The Batang is a customizable web workspace designed for studying, working, and focused activities.

Users can create a personalized working environment using widgets such as clocks, timers, Pomodoro tools, to-do lists, and notes, together with backgrounds and screen layouts.

The Batang provides free features and optional PRO Lifetime features.

The specific features and scope of the service may be changed or expanded as the service evolves.

You must be legally eligible under the laws of your country or region to use the service and enter into agreements relating to it.

Minors and other users who are not legally able to enter into a paid agreement on their own must obtain the consent of a parent, guardian, or other legally authorized representative where required.

You must use the service in accordance with applicable law and these Terms.

Some features of The Batang can be used without an account.

Certain features, including cloud synchronization and PRO access, require you to sign in to a The Batang account using a supported sign-in method.

The Batang currently supports Google sign-in.

You are responsible for maintaining secure access to your sign-in account and may not use another person's account without authorization.

Data created in The Batang may be stored in your browser's local storage or in cloud services used by The Batang, depending on the feature.

Some data created while you are not signed in may be stored only in the browser or device you are currently using and may be lost if browser data is deleted, the device is changed, or the environment is otherwise modified.

Cloud synchronization for signed-in users is provided only for supported data and features.

Certain data, such as personal background images that are processed only in the browser, may not be uploaded to the cloud or synchronized across devices.

As a general rule, rights in notes, to-do items, text, and other content entered or created by users in The Batang remain with the user.

The Batang processes such content only to the extent necessary to provide, store, synchronize, restore, and technically operate the service.

You must have the necessary rights to any content you enter or upload and may not store unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of others.

The Batang does not sell user content as advertising content or use it as an independent product without separate consent.

Free users may use the basic features within the limits set by The Batang.

The features, usage limits, or scope of the free service may change depending on operational needs.

The current scope of free features can be checked within the service.

The Batang PRO Lifetime is a one-time purchase with no subscription or automatic renewal. Once purchased, you may continue using PRO features for as long as The Batang service operates, without any additional payment.

Once a purchase is successfully completed, PRO access is linked to the The Batang account that was signed in when the purchase was initiated.

In these Terms, Lifetime does not mean the lifetime of the purchaser. It means the period during which The Batang service continues to operate.

PRO Lifetime purchasers may use the PRO features currently available, as well as future features added to The Batang PRO, for as long as The Batang service operates.

The price and features offered to new purchasers may change in the future. Such changes are not intended to retroactively reduce the usage rights of customers who have already completed a valid PRO Lifetime purchase.

Payments for The Batang PRO purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as the Merchant of Record.

Depending on the purchaser's country or region, VAT, GST, sales tax, or other applicable taxes may be added. The final amount charged can be reviewed on the checkout screen.

Refunds, partial refunds, payment errors, and other purchase-related terms for PRO Lifetime are governed by the separate Purchase & Refund Policy.

The Purchase & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms.

Users may delete their The Batang account using the methods provided by the service.

When an account is deleted, service data that is subject to deletion may be deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

However, transaction records required for payments, refunds, taxes, dispute handling, or legal obligations may be retained separately for the period permitted or required by applicable law.

When deleting an account, users may choose whether to allow The Batang to retain the minimum purchase-restoration information needed to restore PRO access in the future.

If the user chooses to retain purchase-restoration information, existing PRO Lifetime access may be restored after the user signs up again with the same Google account and a valid PRO Lifetime purchase is confirmed.

If the user does not choose to retain purchase-restoration information, the purchase-restoration identifier will be deleted, and automatic purchase restoration may no longer be available. Transaction records retained separately because of legal requirements are managed separately from purchase-restoration data.

A valid purchase that has received only a partial refund may remain eligible for restoration. Fully refunded or cancelled purchases are not eligible for restoration.

Purchase restoration applies only to PRO access. Widgets, notes, settings, cloud-synced data, and other service-use data deleted with the account are not restored.

PRO Lifetime access is generally tied to the Google account used for the original purchase. Automatic transfer to another Google account is not supported. Where necessary, users may request a separate review by contacting support@thebatang.com.

You may not use The Batang for unlawful purposes or interfere with the normal operation of the service.

The following activities are prohibited:

- Attempting unauthorized access to the service, servers, or security systems - Fraudulently bypassing service features or usage restrictions - Accessing another user's account or data without authorization - Distributing malware, conducting automated attacks, or imposing an excessive load on the service - Infringing copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other rights of The Batang or third parties - Using the service in violation of applicable law

If a serious violation is identified, The Batang may restrict account or service access to the extent reasonably necessary.

Rights in The Batang's service name, logo, interface, design, software, and content provided by the operator belong to RASEYOCA or the relevant lawful rights holder.

Open-source software, third-party fonts, and other external materials are governed by their respective license terms.

These Terms do not transfer intellectual property rights in the service itself to users.

The Batang may add, modify, or remove features for service improvement, technical needs, security, legal compliance, or changes to external services.

Minor changes or improvements that do not materially disadvantage users may be applied without prior notice.

Where a change materially affects PRO purchasers' rights or use of the service, The Batang will provide notice through the service or another appropriate method where reasonably possible.

The Batang may temporarily suspend all or part of the service due to maintenance, outages, security issues, telecommunications or cloud-provider failures, force majeure, or similar circumstances.

If The Batang decides to permanently discontinue the service, it will provide notice through the service or another appropriate method at least 30 days in advance where reasonably possible.

The notice period may be shorter where advance notice is not reasonably possible due to legal requirements, urgent security issues, the sudden termination of a third-party service, or similar circumstances.

Because PRO Lifetime provides access for as long as The Batang service operates, PRO features will also end if the service is permanently discontinued.

If applicable law grants consumers additional rights in connection with service termination, those rights will take precedence over these Terms.

The Batang makes reasonable efforts to provide a stable service.

However, the service may not always operate normally because of factors outside the operator's direct control, including the internet, browsers, operating systems, external authentication services, cloud services, or user devices.

In particular, data stored only in browser-local storage may be lost due to deletion of browser data, device damage, or user environment settings. Users are encouraged to keep separate copies of important information.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Batang is not responsible for losses caused by circumstances that the operator could not reasonably control.

Nothing in this section is intended to limit consumer rights guaranteed by applicable law or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising from intentional misconduct or gross negligence where applicable.

The Batang may use third-party services such as Google, Firebase, and Lemon Squeezy to operate the service.

The terms of service and privacy policies of those providers may apply when their services are used.

Changes, outages, or termination of external services may result in changes to certain The Batang features.

The Batang may revise these Terms to reflect changes in applicable law, service features, or operating practices.

If a change materially affects users' rights or obligations, The Batang will provide notice through the service or another appropriate method before the change takes effect.

The revised Terms will display the updated last-updated date and effective date.

Where applicable law requires separate consent for a change, The Batang will follow the procedures required by that law.

These Terms and the operation of The Batang are generally governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

However, if mandatory consumer protection laws in the user's country or region provide a higher level of protection than these Terms, these Terms do not limit those rights.

If a dispute arises, the operator and the user will first make reasonable efforts to resolve it through mutual discussion.

Jurisdiction and dispute-resolution procedures are determined in accordance with applicable law.
